FMC Announcements for June 15

 

 50+ MINISTRY

The 50+ Women’s Gathering will be held on the first and third Thursday of each month, and the 50+ Men’s Gathering will be on the second and fourth Thursdays. All gatherings will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Little Theatre. For more info, send a message to our new email address, 50plus@mstarm.org.

 

SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS 2.0

MorningStar School of the Prophets 2.0 will begin September 11! Tuition has been reduced for the next school year, which spans September 2025 through May 2026. Join us once a month, from Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon, and sharpen or hone your skills in the prophetic. Our speakers will include guests from all over the body of Christ, as well as our amazing home team, with worship on Friday nights and activations throughout. FRAUD AWARENESS

Please be aware that many have tried to take advantage of our MorningStar family and friends by sending texts, emails, and messages on social media platforms pretending to be one of our leaders. No one from MorningStar will ever reach out to you personally for anything of monetary value (such as cash, money orders, or gift cards). If you receive a personal message from someone using our leader’s name, please report it to the messaging platform they’re using and the church office at ftmill@mstarm.org.

SUMMER READING

Visit the MorningStar Bookstore to stock up on some great books for summer reading! The bookstore is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sundays before and after the service. You can also shop online any time at store.morningstarministries.org.

SABBATICAL

MorningStar will be observing its annual sabbatical July 1-31. Each year, MorningStar closes for a month to allow everyone to rest, reflect, and seek God’s vision for the coming year. The last Sunday service before sabbatical will be June 29, and services will resume August 3.

 

 MORAVIAN LOVE FEAST

Join us for a Moravian Love Feast on August 13 at 5 p.m. in the MSU Room. This will be a service patterned after the love feast the Moravians celebrated after their baptism in the Holy Spirit. There will be traditional hymns, communion, a bread and cheese meal, and a very special visit by Count Zinzendorf (one of our leaders in period costume) preaching an authentic Zinzendorf sermon. This event is sponsored by Heritage Communities.
