SHINE MEETING

Hello Ladies! It may not feel like it where you live, but it’s officially pumpkin spice latte, flannel button down, UGG slipper, pumpkin patch, Fall decorating, apple cider season!! So, we’re jumping in the Fall fun by sharing a couple of DIY tutorials that are sure to spice up your home over the holidays! Also, our Shine director, Mary Anne Hardiman, will be sharing a word straight from the Father’s heart. Don’t keep all the fun for yourselves; tell a friend! We’d love to see you all! Please bring a food/snack to share, if you can on October 19, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Little Theatre.

 

OAK INITIATIVE

Fort Mill Oak Initiative will be meeting Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00pm in the Little Theatre. Oak’s guest speaker will be AT Snoots, and the topic will be “How to Use AI to Your Advantage”. AI is a key tool used in business and government these days, and understanding it as best we can is very important. Don’t miss this presentation!

 

YOUTH ON FIRE

Youth on Fire will be gathering on Sundays after worship in the YOF room on Main Street to watch the livestream and discuss the service over light snacks and drinks. Also, don’t forget that YOF meets every Tuesday night in the same space from 6-8:30pm for food, fellowship, and fun! All youth ages 13-18 are welcome to join us. BONNIE JONES’ FAREWELL PARTY

Bonnie Jones is moving! Come and say farewell, prophesy, celebrate, bless, and love on Bonnie after the Sunday service on October 26th in the Little Theatre. Light refreshments will be served.

 

50+ MINISTRY

All women 50 and over are welcome for coffee and fellowship in the Little Theatre on Main Street at 9:00am on Monday, October 20th, at our 50+ Women’s Gathering. Please bring a breakfast dish, and be ready to share about how you fell in love with Jesus! Likewise, all men 50+ are welcome to the Men’s Gathering on Monday, October 27th, at 9:00am for coffee and great conversation.

 

HEALING TRAINING

Our next Healing Training Classes are on Wednesdays, October 15 and 22, as Pastor Gary will leads us into another level of healing at the BJVC. If you’re unable to join us in person, please visit morningstarfortmill.com/heal for links to the live stream and class notes. Children ages 6-12 will have Creators Art Club in the Kids’ Garden Room at the same time. There will be new art projects for them each week, or they can bring their own.

 

SHOEBOX GIVING

Remember, we have a space at the end of Main Street where we build shoeboxes to send to children all over the world through Samaritan’s Purse for Christmas! Bring your family or group and build shoeboxes as an outreach activity. We already have all the supplies you’ll need! If you aren’t able to build the shoeboxes, but would like to give to this cause, please text the word Shoebox to 35-25-800-800 and follow the prompts. Let’s spread the joy of Christmas to children everywhere!
