WOMEN’S MINISTRY

SHINE is a vital part of our family ministry that is building a sisterhood and alliance to strengthen the vision, gifts, and ministries of women in the church. A woman was the first to declare Jesus to be the Christ (woman at the well), and the first to declare His resurrection, which is the basic mandate of the apostolic ministry. In Proverbs 31, women are esteemed especially for their vast and various business skills, as we also see some of the prominent women in the New Testament being business women. Therefore, MorningStar believes that there is no limit to the gifts, ministries, or leadership of women in the church, and we seek to support and develop them in every way possible.  ~Rick Joyner, President of MorningStar

You can find opportunities for friendship and support through various small groups offered through the Women’s Ministry. Meeting times and topics vary.

Nest is a place for women in the season of motherhood to connect and share their lives with one another as we build our nests.  It is a place for mothers to be empowered and encouraged.  It is a place where the mother’s heart can be refreshed.
Nest meets the first Sunday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Bethany Lounge at MorningStar.

Women Who Pray
Intercession is a vital part of every believer’s life. For those women who desire to be a part of corporate prayer, we provide several times for prayer targets, from prayer for our local and national leaders to prayer for HIM events and local happenings. A women’s prayer group meets Thursdays at 11:15 am in the intercession room. For more information, contact intercession@morningstarministries.org
